Project for Children
Project for Children (PFC) is the educational foundation of Great Commission Global Ministries - a ministry with a heart for loving, sharing, and impacting others through evangelism, missions, and empowerment initiatives.
PFC is unquestionably needed in Liberia as a buttress alongside government and other humanitarian and charitable efforts. It also provides employment for Liberian citizens and raises the local economy.
Our Objective
- To establish self-sustaining educational programs that will enhance the future for children of any ethnicity, religious group, or background through schools and vocational skill training in rural Liberia.
- To create awareness of basic moral issues affecting the survival of the current and future generations and to display a possible means of escape through education.
- To build the capacity of children, youth, and adults to enhance their living conditions and enable them to effectively contribute to the country's economy.
- To provide community members with skill training that enables them to be an effective and productive part of the labor force, conduct proper family management, and car for their homes and community.
The school currently educates over 380 students from nursery to 9th grade. The department carries relevant community programs such as a community based school as well as a vocational and skill training institution. These programs provide the skill and technical training needed for future jobs or education.
